JMLS: Who Says You Can't Have an Interlude

"It is very easy in the world to live by the opinion of the world. It is very easy in solitude to be self-centered. But the finished man is he who in the midst of the crowd keeps with perfect sweetness the independence of solitude."
Ralph Waldo Emerson

The JMLS has grown and was slowly refined with each new chapter. It now more closely resembles an illustrated journal, narrated in the first person with a bit of intentional ambiguity to the other character.

Now we've come to the interlude of the John Mayer Love Story. Though part 3 may have appeared to be a sad ending, in real life, as long as you're still breathing a new day will come. Life's not just a long highway; you can come upon crossroads again.

This interlude is a fast forward through just over a year. Our "hero" is now in a new state, hesitant but willing to try new things, which he does, or attempts to. He might still blame himself deep down but the memories of "her" have almost faded. His parade of a love life probably helped. He's having fun and he's happy though. He's with a new crowd, enjoying being alone.
